Remova o carbono em grande escala

High-quality nature-based carbon removal through entire ecosystem restoration.

NatureRe is on a mission to invest in nature, restore biodiversity, and remove carbon at scale. Our team brings over a decade of experience across finance, carbon markets, and ecological restoration. We deliver a dual model for investors to secure high returns and offtakers to lock in high-quality nature-based carbon removal credits.

Combining restoration, carbon and financial expertise.

Forward-thinking investment product & structuring

Backed by decades of expertise in financial structuring, asset management, and impact investing, we design highly specialized investment vehicles. We operate a lean, agile model engineered to match the risk-adjusted return profiles required by institutional asset managers.

On-the-ground field execution by restoration experts

Our on-the-ground team consists of regional forestry and ecology experts who understand how to scale nature restoration. We look beyond carbon capture, managing our projects to restore native biodiversity, protect local water sources, and support surrounding communities.

Geospatial data analytics & ecological science

We back our projects with clear, rigorous science. Our digital infrastructure is guided by leading data scientists and GIS analytics experts. We work with local partners to implement our projects, and to ensure effective Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV).

Impacting climate, biodiversity and communities.

NatureRe is driven by a vision to restore nature at scale through a triple impact.

According to climate scientists at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), limiting global warming to 1.5°C requires removing 5 to 10 gigatons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every single year by 2050.

Nature-based solutions present a promising approach to addressing climate change. Restoring native forests turns degraded land into a massive carbon sink, actively removing carbon from the atmosphere.

Wildlife population has decreased by 95% in Latin America since 1970.The destruction of forests, grasslands and wetlands, overexploitation and alien species have all contributed to this sharp decline.

Assisted Natural Regeneration recovers native plant species. Allowing forest regrowth increases wildlife habitat connectivity.

Local community involvement is essential for nature restoration. It ensures that projects are culturally relevant, economically sustainable, and tailored to the specific ecological challenges of the area.

Social impact is embedded to support lasting shared value through our HEART strategy,  focusing on job creation, environmental education, and inclusion.

The recent assessment of Earth’s planetary boundaries identified green water, the soil moisture available for vegetation, as one of the critical Earth system processes that has already exceeded its safe operating space.

Restoring native forest cover is essential for recovering hydrological processes. Protecting vital micro-watersheds and hamlet aqueducts through targeted landscape restoration, improves regional hydrological quality and secures local water sources.
