Head of Project Implementation
About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity for an established project manager who is comfortable overseeing multiple work-streams related to the implementation of a nature-based carbon project. You’ll establish partnerships with commercial nurseries, local community groups, and professional implementation groups, while overseeing internal resources dedicated to restoration, maintenance, and monitoring. You’ll also collaborate closely with our project design & development, land acquisition, carbon intelligence, and investments teams, executing on the restoration strategy and reporting results.
Location: Medellin, Colombia (Hybrid)
Duration: full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage our vendor network, negotiating contracts with groups such as commercial nurseries and landscape implementation groups
- Foster trust and engagement with local community groups, overseeing the execution of our social impact efforts
- Collaborate closely with our Project Design & Development team to inform and execute on the restoration strategy
- Manage the overall implementation of restoration process, from sourcing seedlings, preparing lands, and planting to on-going maintenance and monitoring
- Report on implementation progress, identifying risks and opportunities and proactively anticipating next steps

Required skills:
- Fluency in Spanish & English (written and spoken);
- Minimum 8 years of experience in landscape management with at least 3 years as a project manager.
- Background in environmental conservation, nature restoration, regenerative agriculture, sustainable forestry, or a related field.
- Experience managing 3rd party vendors.
- Ability to collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders, including with local communities, implementation teams, scientists, investors, and leadership.
- Passion for managing teams to drive excellence.
- Proactive mindset.
- Comfortable with a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
