Cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia en marketing y comunicación, y ha ocupado puestos de responsabilidad en empresas internacionales. Invierte en empresas alimentarias sostenibles, finanzas sostenibles y soluciones de transición energética como copropietaria de su oficina familiar. Anteriormente trabajó con Daniel en una organización precursora de NatureRe.

Más de 20 años de experiencia internacional en fusiones y adquisiciones y finanzas corporativas. Desde 2009, sus actividades se han centrado en ayudar a las empresas en el ámbito de los negocios sostenibles (incluida la recaudación de fondos para proyectos sostenibles).

Marco cuenta con 20 años de experiencia en el sector financiero, habiendo estructurado y gestionado con éxito múltiples plataformas de fondos en distintas jurisdicciones. Antes de incorporarse a NatureRe, ocupó el cargo de Director de Operaciones del grupo de empresas Signet, con sede en Zurich. Actualmente es titular de las cartas CFA y CAIA.

Sven tiene más de 25 años de experiencia en banca de inversión y ha pasado los últimos 2 años en el sector de la salud y la inversión de impacto. Gracias a su experiencia en varios puestos de finanzas corporativas y mercados de capitales en bancos de inversión líderes, aporta una excelente red y posee una amplia experiencia en la originación y ejecución de transacciones complejas, gestión de relaciones, desarrollo de negocios y comunicación con el mercado de capitales.

Susanne is a business professional with +15 years of experience in social innovation, impact investing, and sustainability across private, public, and philanthropic sectors. As Co-Founder and Board Member of Brainforest, a venture studio focused on forest and climate solutions, she leverages her knowledge of forest ecosystems and an extensive network to support NatureRe. She serves on various boards and is herself an active investor in carbon credits.

20+ years experience from strategy consulting (Bain & Company) and wholesale banking (Credit Suisse). He now advises financial and strategic investors in transactions and value creation in the energy and water sectors (FMC). He also acts as member of the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy Switzerland and finance director of the Biodiversity Bridge e.V.. At NatureRe, Stefan assists potential investors in their DDs and ensures an optimal fit of NatureRe’s business model to the needs of financial markets. 

Santiago is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in climate finance, sustainability, and international financial management. Currently serving as Senior Finance Manager at NatureRe, he has worked across diverse sectors, including multilateral organizations, carbon markets, public financial institutions, and high-growth scaleups. Santiago holds a Master’s in international business from Grenoble Graduate School of Business, has completed courses in climate change and private equity at the University of Oxford, and has studied scaling organizations at Stanford University. He specializes in financial strategy, fundraising, and sustainable investment.

Lupe is a lawyer with a background in international mobility, migration law, and fintech compliance. Originally from Colombia, she relocated to Spain 6 years ago to pursue a master’s degree in law and become a lawyer in Spain. Lupe is based in Hamburg, but is deeply motivated by the opportunity to work with a company that prioritises the preservation of Colombia’s rich biodiversity and supports sustainable projects in her home country. Guadalupe brings nearly three years of experience in compliance from the fintech sector and is enthusiastic about contributing to NatureRe’s mission and playing a role in initiatives that bridge global expertise with local environmental and community needs. 

Eliana holds a Master’s degree in Forest and Environmental Conservation from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She has almost 10 years of experience in leading carbon projects, directing project portfolios, and advising for environmental assessment. She is leading NatureRe’s nature-based carbon removal projects from PDD (project development document) set-up to MRV (measurement, reporting, verification), as Head of Nature Restoration.

Over the past two years, Daire has combined his academic insights and professional know-how with his passion for ecological restoration. Daire explored the ecological and financial benefits of ANR versus traditional reforestation methods in his thesis: “The Economics of Assisted Natural Regeneration: A Comparative Analysis of Reforestation Methods in the Lowland Neotropics.” His background in data analytics and portfolio management, combined with his expertise in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), has made him a vital contributor to Carbon Asset Development and local operations in Colombia.

Lorraine is a business administrator with a specialisation in executive management. With over a decade of experience in administrative roles, customer service, and public relations, Lorraine is known for a profound sense of responsibility and a steadfast commitment to quality and compliance standards. Her extensive background is complemented by more than six years of experience in the sustainability sector, a field she is deeply passionate about. Lorraine’s dedication to management has been a crucial asset throughout her career. She is excited about the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that promote sustainable practices and uphold high standards of excellence. Lorraine’s professional journey reflects her enthusiasm for combining effective management with a strong commitment to sustainability.

With 15 years of experience in environmental impact mitigation projects and consulting in both the public and private sectors, Juan is an environmental engineer, specialised in disaster prevention, attention and reduction. During the last 5 years he has supported conservation projects and carbon markets, developing business search strategies and working with indigenous and local communities in the socialisation of projects and signing of framework agreements. He participated in the preparation of the Due Diligence of projects in the Peruvian Amazon, in joint work with more than 300 indigenous communities in various regions of Peru.

Michael graduated from the École des Ponts (ParisTech) with a MSc in Sustainable Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) who is passionate about directing capital to solve climate an social issues. 

Olivia has a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Management at ESCP Business School. Combining skills from the field of political science and of international management has led her to question how to reconcile economic growth and sustainability at a business level. Her language skills have driven her to work in marketing and communications, specifically to convey impact-minded messages in the face of the current climate and biodiversity crisis.

Johanna obtained her degree in Forestry Engineering and her master’s in Forest and Environmental conservation at the National University of Colombia. She followed with a PhD in biological science at the Université du Québec in Montréal. She has 7+ years of experience in carbon and diversity forest monitoring, data management, programming, and statistical analysis and modeling. Johanna will use her skills and background in the ecology of tropical forests as Carbon Manager at NatureRe,  overseeing carbon monitoring, accounting, and reporting for forest conservation and restoration projects.

Andrés is a forestry engineer, a specialist in project management from the Corporación Universitaria de Asturias and holds a Master’s degree in Forestry and Environmental Conservation from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. During the past 10 years, Andrés has focused on biotic management, implementation of environmental compensation plans and ecosystem restoration. He utilises his skills in taxonomic botany and environmental management plans for infrastructure projects as Restoration & Implementation Specialist at NatureRe.

Dayan is an environmental engineer with experience in conservation projects and environmental reforestation. Living in Medellin, he is an expert in the protection of fauna, flora and all natural resources such as air, water and soil, in Colombia. He has more than 4 years of experience in environmental projects focused on preservation, environmental conservation, management of local communities. At NatureRe, he supervises the foremen of Managua and Bengala, tax payments, local community representation, and external visits to the land.

Luz Dary graduated from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana of Medellin with a law degree. She specialized in Financial and Securities Law at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and in Environmental Management at the Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte. Throughout her career she has worked in different public entities and private companies, where she has mainly led legal issues related to environmental, property, real estate, cadastral, agrarian, administrative law. She will apply these skills in her role as Legal Coordinator, specifically for land acquisition, at NatureRe. 

Ana Ribeiro holds a PhD in Environmental Planning from Leibniz Universität Hannover, a Master’s in Sustainable Development from the University of Brasília, and a Bachelor’s in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras, Brazil. She has over 15 years of experience in environmental monitoring, and geospatial analysis, strongly focusing on tropical biomes conservation. At NatureRe, she works as a Project Developer, supporting the development of nature-based carbon projects in Brazil.

Emilia holds a Master of Science in Mountain Forestry from the University of Natural Resources Vienna. With three years of work experience in forest monitoring and data analysis, she is passionate about sustainable forestry and making a global impact. At NatureRe, she specializes in monitoring and forest-related geodata.

Claire holds a master’s degree in International Management, with a focus on Global South relations. Through fieldwork in Africa and Latin America, Claire gained experience in sustainable and strategic development – particularly in Colombia, where she helped strengthen local regenerative agriculture organizations through nature-based solutions. At NatureRe, she contributes to project monitoring and development efforts in Colombia.
